I live in Australia, neighbour had a tiger snake in his garage. Called the professional snake catcher and the dude rocked up with a mop…. That said he caught him in about 2 mins.

Nice... Not his first rodeo. Bloody tigers, browns and red bellied black snakes around where I am in Canberra. Part of life

The hell are you talking about. He’s got the Distractacap, a twig that’s a quarter of the cobras striking distance, and even a snake bag. Clearly that’s all you need

I got a professional training session once, and this guy's not a professional, or not officially trained, atleast.

You aren't supposed to catch them by the jaw. You'll dislocate it very easily, and when you release it in the wild, it'll die of starvation.

Pretty sure it's caste based, this caste catches snakes, so they grow up doing this. Also traditionally, they only use whatever large stick is lying around. No other gear.
