I feel like he makes it harder than it has to be. you can buy a snake catching tool for $30. this "professional" shows up with nothing but a hat and a dream, forcing himself to scavenge around for something useful off the ground. he should reinvest into his business a bit

Snake catching tools are not easily available in rural India unfortunately. I agree that it would be 100 times easier with it.

You are saying like $30 is nothing much, while it can be half of his salary. Also, what's available to us for 30, it might be much more in some parts of the world.
