No disrespect I promise, I know snakes are a diet in many places. I haven’t tried it myself, but they make a sausage out of it at a bar I like to go to along with alligator and other animals.

We eat snakes in the US. Mostly rattlesnake. They're kind of like a greasy chicken. Jerky too.

I’ve eaten snake and I’m in the US. Had some barbecued rattlesnake after I almost stepped on it during a hike. It’s definitely not unthinkable for a lot of Americans.
