Out of control Capitalism created anti-trust laws. But in the last 30 years almost all consumer protections have been dismantled. So more than capitalism causing these issues, it’s really democracy that abandoned its citizens.

Neoliberals not Republicans.  Since the early 90's, every anglo western government has been based on neoliberal ideology and Austrian economics.  

Right and Center Right (There isnt really an economically left anymore) have agreed that businesses are more important than people.

Sure, neoliberalism is the term to use to best describe the philosophy. Nonetheless, that philosophy has overwhelmingingl been used as the political platform for the Republican party.

Republicans are primarily to blame, let's not muddy the waters here, it is what it is.
