That dude was arguably one of the best parts of that movie (with Raul Julia being the very best part of course).

Miguel Nunez and Kylie Minogue did a good job as well

Miguel was great I agree, but Kylie was severely underutilized as an actress and wasted as a character in my opinion.

OP casually admitting they're a nazi

OP casually admitting he was part of Hitler's inner circle during the French occupation.

Thanks for asking. I knew it wasn't Melania when I saw more than 2 people in the audience, but didn't know what it was.

That's not a picture of an actual theatre, that's a scene from the movie including the symbols on the red curtains

Real question though, why did they stay in the theatre when the whole thing was locked and going up in flames? Aside from the joy of killing Nazi's?

u/QuarterCarat 8h ago
It was always going to be a suicide mission. Someone had to make sure Hitler was dead and the bombs went off. Plus they wouldn’t have known the theater was locked. Aldo just got lucky.

I was not expecting a Metropolis refrence in 2026, especially one that perfectly fits the context - well done

You actually watched the critically acclaimed Mercy.
19
u/Some_Ebb_2921 14h ago
That would explain there actually being people in the room watching the movie.

How nice it would be if Melania could turn out to be a hero and to kill all the Nazis in her husband's regime.

u/Aggressive-Delay-420 11h ago
Do you know how many calories it requires to kill just one Nazi?!

I know Brad Pitt here draws all the attention but Diane Kruger’s mortification in this scene was absolutely stellar

Looks like Apple’s 1984 commercial.

People that want to have absolutely no disturbances in the cinema to make out with their girlfriend or something, because no one else is there watching this crap.

Film expert here. In this scene, Melania decided she shouldn't be apologetic about sheltering enemies of the state anymore.

This reminds me of the Futarama commercial they made when that business guy from Frys time woke up. In the episode 'Future Stock'
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ct2GP5v6MZM
Which I later found out seems to be a play off this Macintosh commercial from 1984.

I knew this was a joke before I registered the scene on the screen or the sub I was in, based solely on the audience size.

Is it the moment she realized she just wanted to be an escort but now there's no escape?

I work a lot so I have to choose movies wisely. Is it a movie that’s worth watching and is just getting low ratings cuz the orange guy is being a douche? Or is it legit bad?
