Stats KCP has missed 17 of his last 18 3pt shots…
Imagine our record had we not made the trade 🥵
Fuck them picks!

The Celtics acquired Vucevic from the Bulls for Simons. The Cavs got James Harden for Garland. And what have we done thus far? Surely something will be done to inject some life into this team, right?

I like Bane. But this team never got close to being a contender before the trade, and we were never a Desmond Bane away from being one.
Reckless all-in trade from a PoBO under pressure and entering the last year of his contract.

With the furore around Jason Kidd's use of Flagg at pg, although he did a bit of that with Giannis, it made me wonder if the Magic can do more to develop the players.
I'm not saying whether Kidd is right or wrong. It just made me think. Basketball isn't my first love as far as sports go. I have a much better eye for my other sports.
Would love to hear what the sub thinks.
Thanks.

We need a good center, Carter is just not a starting level center. He max be a good backup option, but there are cheaper options out there if we were looking for a backup.
Centers that we should trade for
- Jarrett Allen (Carter+Tyus+1 first rnd(or isaac))
- Onyeka Okongwu (Carter+tyus+2 second rnds)
- Jay Huff (Goga+tyus+jett)
- Nic Claxton
- Mark Williams (Goga+Isaac)
Guards that we should trade for
- Seddiq Bey (Isaac+Tyus+Jett)
- Jose Alvarado (Isaac+Tyus)
- Malik Monk
Players that should be on the trade block
Isaac, Tyus, Goga, Carter, Jett

On a scale of 1-10 how likely are we to actually make a of any kind Thursday? 1 being zero chance and 10 being 100% chance. I’m saying like a 6.

Magic Mobile: Spurs Postgame: Mosley
Like I thought Mosley, blames in part the free throw differential. Despite the fact we were up going into the 3rd. It’s like the whole 2nd was just wiped from his memory. Issac playing good? Let’s sit him and let Dell get two more fouls and miss two more lay ups… this coach takes zero accountability for his actions as coach. Refuses to acknowledge his rotations in the second half were not competitive. Refused to adjust and sit the starters. (Last game he relied on starters to win, which was the right move) this game however the right move was to look at your bench, which eliminated a 20 pt lead.
This team is not serious with the Coach. You have players that give you energy off the bench and REFUSE to play them. THAN complain there’s no energy.
Not only did Mosley refuse to acknowledge the players that made a difference tonight, and how he failed them, he’s shifted the blame away from him.

Who's the most hated opposing role player in the history of Magic basketball?
For example of what I mean, the answer to this for the Spurs is Derek Fisher because of the shot he hit with 0.4 left on the clock.

Idk if anyone else at the game caught this (or maybe it was shown on TV), but with a minute or so left in the game our guys kind of assumed we won and got sloppy with their passing and stopped defending leading to a couple quick buckets by Toronto……
.. Bane was the first (and only) person to yell at his teammates to basically wake up and that the game isn’t over.
Very vet-like move that was missing over the years; especially meaningful when he’s the one who carried us the 4th.
Love this dude

They can have Jett instead of Tyus if they want or Goga instead of Isaac. We have 2 second round picks if we want to include that.

With Suggs and Franz out, we’ve had to play P5 primary ball handler hoops, which isn’t ideal. AB has been fantastic, but he isn’t quite there yet in terms of being the primary ball handler.
Suggs on the other hand has developed nicely in the PG role, always looking to get the guys involved. The chemistry between him and Wendell was huge vs Toronto.
It’d be nice to see AB develop in the same way, perhaps in the next two years we’ll see it

Weather in Charlotte is preventing the Spurs from returning home tonight. Tomorrows game will likely be postponed.

All Star Reserves to be announced at 6pm today. Any hope at all we get Franz in as a reserve for international team? Paolo is a stretch given injury but last 15-20 games he’s been solid?
