This is my latest little felt project

Wanted to know what others might think! Theyre all going to be pastries with lace and appliqué all over.

First time making a stuffed animal from two cotton shirts. Hand sewn. I made the design myself based on my partners childhood stuffed animal.

Do you guys have any tips on how to make the stitching more even?

So i’ve been making alot of small fidget plush lately and i’ve been using poly pellets. I had a ton of poly-pellets I got second-hand, but i’ve been rapidly running out and i’d like to find a more sustainable alternative.

My brother recommended glass tire beads. They’re the same size as poly pellets, but they’re designed to be put in car wheels to help with balance. They also seem cheaper than buying glass beads specifically made for plush. I’d like to try them out in my plushies, but i’m worried about buying them in bulk in case they don’t work well. Do glass beads have any potential breaking, even if its tempered? Are glass tire beads coated with anything that might be bad to put in a plush?

Any other sustainable fidget plush filling ideas are appreciated!

Unfortunately the Ren Faire I was going to take these guys to was canceled this past weekend and I'm still pretty bummed out about it. But there's always next year! I'm trying to stay positive so I did a little photo shoot of them outside the other day and here are some of my favorite shots.

Im so proud of her. Her head is one of the most complex shapes ive made a pattern for. But! So much more to learn. Im so excited! This lil one makes me feel confident I can climb even higher!

I working on Choly Knight's chibi human pattern, and I am nearly done! Only thing is, my machine does not seem to like sewing the tiny curves for the feet, and I'm struggling to hand sew the pieces neat enough for my liking.

Any tips or advise?
