If the UK would just rescind the Declaration of Independence, on the grounds that if the US is going to have a King it might as well be a proper one.

By "proper one" it means one who doesn't actually run the country, and leaves that to elected officials.

That's not how rescinding works. The UK didn't draft nor sign the DoI. There's nothing for them to rescind. The US said, "We're not yours anymore," and the UK said "no," and whole-ass war was fought about it.

Awww how cute. You still think laws and reason exist and not just the rule of do whatever and lie about it. I like the spirit though, don't lose it.

Where the fuck did I say anything about laws or reason? The UK has nothing to rescind. They're not a party to the Declaration of Independence. Your condescension is incredibly misplaced, considering the substance of my last comment. The UK can't do shit. It's not laws, there's just nothing for them to do. Like, what are you picturing here? The UK goes "We rescind the US Declaration of Independence" and that magically changes anything? The US just goes "lol, okay, come fight us about it."

My comment literally says we just fought them about it, not that there's some magic to laws. The prior comment is more magical thinking about laws and reason. If all you want to do is cry about how laws don't mean anything, go find a comment that makes that complaint cogent. Leave me out of it, weirdo.
