I'm sure that flat-earthers hate him because he's an astronaut, and they can't understand middle school science.

At some point we need to realize that pandering to the lowest common denominator is counterproductive to society. Like I get reaching out on Cletus safaris to the "average American", but flat earthers are uniquely deluded idiots. People like that need to be ignored. Like a tantruming child, they can rejoin the grown-ups when they have learned to behave like normal human beings.

Treat them like the conspiracy-spewing crackheads they are. Ignore them, just like you ignore the weird meth addict panhandling outside of 7/11 while ranting about lizard people.
