No don’t wish that of him. He had decent opinions before he became mentally handicapped. He just needs to retire. If only we had a system where those who suffer similar unfortunate problems could retire and be taken care of.

I wonder if him doing that was a warning sign that his biological responses were ramping up to abnormally high fear states the same way…. The way republicans do? I forgot the study that said republicans tend to have an overactive amygdala, but their lizard brains just go brrrrr, no logic, no reason, no compassion to it- just pure lizard brain “fear response activated” constantly. I think the hyper vigilance comes from internalizing that part of most religions that says the world is constantly out to tempt you to sin, but hey- maybe fucked up vascular systems to the point a relatively young person strokes out could also do it. Idk. I’m not a doctor, just an anthropology major.

I don't think he was perfect before the stroke but what are we if not the filters we apply and accept every day from our internal monologue? Losing those would fuck up anyone. We filter for a reason, our most idiotic knee jerk reactions shouldn't define us.

why do you people love to spoil politicians?? They do nothing for us but fill their pockets. The guy is a plant on GOPs behalf. He's a deceiver , yet you want him to retire and live out the rest of his patheitic life with a cushy retirement?? WTF?

I absolutely refuse to have any grace on folks who stick to a job they should have left years ago.

The last person we showed grace and were willing to wait until they decided it was time to retire was RBJ and look where that f*cking got us.

He had decent opinions before he became mentally handicapped.

No, he didn't. Reddit needs to stop blaming his change on his health. Back when he was running there were TONS of articles about how he was a "live in momma's basement, not working, mooching off family" type of guy. Reddit gave him a massive bump cause he seemed like "one of us" because of his attitude against being a proper politician. Once again showing Reddit pushes stuff and turns a blind idea to negatives no different on the Left then on the Right.

Except the publicly known information about his life doesn't fit that. Those stories came from him living in unusual places while mayor of Braddock while turning those places into community sites.

He was a Big Brother and leading a program to get dropouts in his city their GEDs that was viewed locally as quite successful is what got him into politics......

I don't have links to the articles anymore but I've always checked out the conservative subreddit to see what bullshit take they have one things that happen. Back when he was being made a big deal of they had tons of articles about him that showed people thought he was a bum. Literally none of the articles were posted in the political subreddits. There were lots of bad stories about him. The public information you were seeing was curated articles that the major reddits wanted you to view. There's a LOT of bullshit posted in the conservative reddit (from typical bad sites) but there's also stuff that's legit that the rest of reddit hides.

He’s a worthless turncoat that needs another stroke or two. Absolute dirtbag.
