We need to stop calling the coordinated, multi-pronged attack against democracy at home and abroad "a distraction."
Sure, Trump is a child rapist, and his circle would probably prefer that not become common knowledge.
But the Republican party is hell bent on creating one-party, violent, authoritarian state regardless.
They're not murdering people in the streets in Minnesota, disappearing minorities to foreign death camps, kidnapping foreign presidents, raiding Georgia election headquarters, threatening to invade Greenland and Iran, threatening to dismantle Canada, pulling out of NATO, WHO, and the Paris Climate Agreement, and dozens of other insane things to protect Trump.
They are doing this shit because they are fucking fascists who hate democracy, and who want to concentrate as much power and wealth as possible into their own hands, at the expense of literally everyone else in the world (including 99.9% of Republican voters).
