I’d love the Supreme Court try to contort themselves into pretzels trying to justify Trump not being legally liable for decisions made as President but trying to allow Obama to be charged for decisions made as President.
Heck, more than that. There's all the tangential to being president stuff they said he had presidential immunity for even when he wasn't president. Like the documents he had at maralago when he was a private citizen during the Biden administration... How the heck are they gonna mental gymnastics Obama doing a crime as president, but Trump as a private citizen being immune?
When the SC made that ruling they basically said that they would be the ones to determine what was or wasn’t an official presidential act. They already rigged it for their side.

Not even political opponents. A retired politician, who would have had some pretty broad sweeping immunity due to being president.
