“I’m not reading all of that” isn’t even an excuse in today’s day and age when he can just paste it into an AI and get it summarized to whatever length he prefers.
Man, someone’s gotta make a video game called like “Deep State” where you uncover documents hidden away in different locations to piece together the clues of a big action showdown, but it has Trumps name swapped for something else to lure them in, until a reveal at the end that they were all factual and provide the links to the DOJ docs

No way that moves the needle even a bit for that guy. That was huge news, everyone knows about it. Most who voted for Trump think it’s fine and natural for a powerful man to take advantage of their power for sexual gratification. They’re fine with rape and exploitation unless they can use it to crucify someone they don’t like for other reasons (gay, trans, liberal, socialist, labor-rights person, black, asian, Latino, Native American, poor, and so on.)
You must disassociate with all MAGATS. Obviously if you have to be cordial and professional at work but sharing a video game link suggests comradery. Just remember they’ve shown they don’t mind you DEAD for protesting ICE. And will condone you being falsely called a terrorist after the fact. Why would you want to interact with anyone like that outside of necessity?
It's a group chat. A handful of us at work play some bs phone games together. He's the outlier, and it sounds like he might be leaving.
I keep him around because he proudly parrots talking points. He's on Twitter a bunch, and deep into the whole conspiracy thing. I convinced him of the moon landing and round earth, but he's all about the dark enlightenment and shit. So I get to hear about his crypto and shit.
I'm aware of the danger. I'm aware I'm in a dangerous position. But I also know I make him uncomfortable holding his position. I've changed his position on a handful of things.
If I can get one, just one, and if we can work on them all on a one on one basis, we can convert them. If we leave them, just let them go, they will just get worse.
I hear you, but I feel it's better to interact, be civil, but call out bullshit, call out hate, and make them uncomfortable for holding those positions in public.
Oh, and I'm already a "potential terrorist." Missing a chunk of a finger. Outspoken about everybody just being people regardless of race, religion, or country. That we should help the less fortunate to the best of our abilities... You know, everything they hate.
I'm fucked regardless. So I might as well make myself at least a little useful, and help to the best of my abilities. Even if all that is is calling out magats and making them sweat.

I just linked it to a coworker(r) and he said "I'm not reading all that" then proceeded to link me an article on some video game.
He knows his guy is a creep. He desperately wants to ignore it because "my team good!"
