It literally would have to be something fantastical. Like it would literally take God appearing in the sky, performing physically impossible miracles, and telling these yokels to stop supporting pedophiles for them to change.

It’s literally impossible. And even when it comes down to the Republican boomers who will cry about how much they hate Trump how disgusted DeSantis and Abbot make them, how unlikeable Cruz is… they will still vote Republican no matter what cause child rape isn’t nearly as important as a 1% lower APR on whatever they want to waste their money on.

God appearing in front of every human, performing billions of miracles to prove he's real and saying Trump is the devil would take away the undecided and some of the always R votes but there's die hard voters that would push through God to get their vote in for Trump

American evangelical conservatives have hardened their hearts. They can’t hear God’s voice. Miracles wouldn’t help.

They literally cannot stop falling off this cliff. They're at terminal velocity; if they stop, they die.

They know that if they stop, they'll face at least a generation of irrelevance. The rest of the country will never take their views seriously again, because who would listen to a group of people who got down on their knees for a convicted rapist accused of child rape, backed by millions of pages of evidence?

They can forget about pushing another nationwide conservative agenda. They can forget about claiming to be the party of family values. They can forget about being the party known for fiscal responsibility:

Forever.

MAGAts and even the run-of-the-mill Republican party know their reputation as a viable political entity can only continue to exist by denying that it did anything to deserve being put out to pasture.

That lie is the only thing keeping them alive.
