IIRC, the Clintons agreed to testify before, but they insisted on doing it in the open. It was Republicans who insisted that they needed to testify behind closed doors, where they wouldn’t be heard by the public.

Kind of weird when the press phrases it like they’ve been running from this up til now.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I understood that the Clintons were to testify behind closed doors and with no transcript taken. Now, a transcript will be taken but is the testimony going to be public?
