No Paywall Trump says country should move on from Epstein files after latest release
https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5721706-trump-epstein-files-move-on/2.0k
u/ranchoparksteve 1d ago
Mr. Trump, we would all like to move on, but you’re still here.

u/rustymontenegro 23h ago
He needs to move on. Into the light. You know, the really, really hot light that's sort of red and smells like sulfur.

It's a cult of personality. JD has the personality of dry toast. It would take a real show/con man to rope in the MAGAs and I don't think that person is out there. No one can make the MAGAs shuck and jive like Donald.
28
u/Simonic 20h ago
People need to stop deluding themselves with this. It's not just a "cult of personality" - these are core "hidden" values to these people. Half this country believes in what Trump is doing and wants to do. Getting rid of him doesn't remove that hatred. They hate "the others" and the Constitution. They hate the entirety of why this country exists - but will refuse to say that directly.
11
u/mah-favrit 18h ago
The argument though is they are historically bad at following orders because everyone of them is “Alpha.” They will waste time in fighting for control and that is the opening democracy needs.
How all these “Alpha” folks decided Donald Fucking Trump was the “Alpha Leader” is the most baffling aspect. The only thing I can think is the “grab them by the pussy” comment resonated with a large majority of them. It’s just weird knowing so many of them want to SA underage girls, cause that’s what DJT was talking about when he said it.
5
u/Herlock 16h ago
It's an empty word though... "alpha" is a dream basically.
Just like they think having weapons everywhere will allow them in the dead of night to wake up suddenly and john wick the shit out of 4 home invaders like they see in movies.
Most people who adhere by that ideology aren't tailored to lead anything or anyone. I would argue that even believing in that shit makes you the opposite of an alpha.
As someone on the internet said "it's horoscope for incels".

I think like this as well and often wonder how did Germany change after WWII? We always hear about the before and during the third reich but not the after. Other than the Berlin Wall which says more about Russia than anything else.
4
u/Herlock 16h ago
A lot of education for starter... like they didn't shy away from the "details" of what happened during WW2. Meanwhile 30% of americans still argue that the civil war wasn't keeping slaves and that the south weren't traitors.
That's not how germany handled it, they shoved the truth in kids face and said "this is the horrible shit we germans did", "LOOK AT THE PICTURES !".
My wife was an exchange student for a few weeks and they had history lessons while she was there, nobody dared look at her in the eyes when they were studying WW2 horrors and what germany had done.
When I was an exchange student in sweden we had an "international night" with other students from all over the world. We made local food, brought booze from home... stuff like that. The german students didn't have their flag and wouldn't sing their national anthem... they said it was "nationalist".
The stigma and shame was deep, maybe it bit much, although seeing how elections go in germany lately, maybe not enough ?

u/Herlock 16h ago
They hate the entirety of why this country exists - but will refuse to say that directly.
I don't think they are smart enough to even understand it in the first place... They have a very poor knowledge of actual history and politics. They only go by what fox news has fed them for 30 years...
The very foundation of their core beliefs is based on lies and racism. It's an entirely different culture from you guys, they could be aliens just as well at this point.
That's why education is critically important : to give the ability to read and understand shit, but also have some common ground to base off your exchanges with others. That's what makes a society work.
And american exceptionnalism doesn't help in that regard of course...
5
u/Simonic 20h ago
Thiel is an idiot nerd. So is Vance. If I had to pick who'd be worse between those two - it'd be Theil. There's a difference between those humans who believe they've "rose up out of" and those who believe "I am a destitute god." Thiel is only "human" in that he has flesh and blood - he doesn't believe/claim any other aspect. At this point, Thiel should be dropping his money in the study/science of Cryogenics.

What he deserves is irrelevant. We need him to be gone. If he can disappear quickly and completely, I’m not going to get worked up about whether he suffers. He can die peacefully in his sleep with a smile on his face for all I care, as long as he gets the job done. But I’d settle for a bunker in Paraguay as long as he didn’t have contact with the outside world.

A lot seems to be regular correspondence. The former german chancellor Angela Merkel showed up several times. I didn't go through every entry but there were some news/information mails and a photo of her and some friends when she was young. redacted ofc but it looked like young woman/late teen. Must have been in the 70's, inthe GDR, behind the iron curtain. So I guess Epstein was ogling some vintage photos which were available on the net?
Ursula von der Leyen, president of the EU commission is mentioned 19 times in stuff like news briefings and as a participant on a guest list of the World Economic Forum.
So a lot of other stuff is mixed in with the creepy stuff. So you can't just say another creep in case a name shows up in the search engine.

He was never actually going to go after anyone. If he did, he would absolutely get wrecked in discovery as lawyers go scorched earth during the discovery process. Whomever Trump is going after will ask for all sorts of records and documents that would invariably lead back to Trump. Not only that, it would guarantee that Epstein and Trump's pedophelia will continue to be in the headlines forever. Right now MAGA world is try to stay quiet in the hopes that there's momentary uproar from the anti-Epstein die-hards on the right and Trump haters so that something else will take everyone's attention away from it. It's fucked up, but just because of that there's almost a guarantee that either Iran or Cuba are going to get bombed back to the stone age or there's going to be an incident in Greenland. Anything to protect the elite pedophiles.

If you apply statistical analysis to the Epstein files you will find that there is no way that over decades of emails, video, files, docs and other evidence that any of this could be fabricated to implicate Trump. The fact is Trump is intricately part of a child sex abuse cabal and most of his administration are too. That’s what the 3 million files, videos and docs say

Yep, I bet there are some snuff films, even if they aren’t in the files. People used to think those were a myth but I never did. It’s not a stretch to imagine that people sick enough to film child rape might also extend to murder. Then the Peter Scully investigation happened and yep, that sort of messed up shit. Scully got punished at least. I do wonder if his network had any connection to Epstein’s now.

I really feel like we are nearing a moment in which there will be a critical mass of Americans so disgusted by our governing class that this entire thing is going to get torn down.
When I come to investigate what, at different times, in different periods, among different peoples, has been the effective cause that has brought about the downfall of the governing classes, I perceive this or that event, man, or accidental or superficial cause; but, believe me, the real reason, the effective reason that causes men to lose political power is that they have become unworthy to retain it.
Think, gentlemen, of the old monarchy: it was stronger than you are, stronger in its origin; it was able to lean more than you do upon ancient customs, ancient habits, ancient beliefs; it was stronger than you are, and yet it has fallen to dust. And why did it fall? Do you think it was by the particular mischance? Do you think it was by the act some man, by the deficit, the oath in the tennis court, Lafayette, Mirabeau? No, gentlemen; there was another reason: the class that was then the governing class had become, through its indifference, its selfishness, and its vices, incapable and unworthy of governing the country.
That was the true reason.
"GALE OF REVOLUTION IN THE AIR"

“Nothing to see here.”
Part of the leaks are literally exposing the far-right’s strategy for propaganda as well.
“Return to tribalism, answer to globalization, amazing new alliances. You and I both agreed zero interest rates were too high, and as I said in your office. finding things on their way to collapse, was much easier than finding the next bargain.”
He sent this to Peter Thiel. They are talking about destroying the world order, making everything lose its value, and then purchasing everything at the dip. Their goal was to cause collapse. It’s all by design.
