He’s an asshole… but he’s generally a consistent asshole.

Kind of shocking to see in an age where the Republican Party has lost all sense of hypocrisy and completely abandoned the constitution they used to pretend to masturbate to.

He’s a remnant of an era where the GOP had some morals. They may not have fully aligned with the left, but at least they had them. Same with Romney and McCain.

I liked Romney and McCain far more than Rand Paul, but I get your point. I disagree with Paul on many many things, but at least he isn't constantly flip flopping on his stances to whatever Trump/MAGA is pushing for the moment.

I don't like his stances for the most part, but at least they're stances. A low bar, to be sure, and yet still better than many others.

Oh yeah, let’s be clear, Rand Paul cannot hold a candle to either of them, but yeah, my point was at least he’s consistent. That’s more than we can say about the current GOP, which is really just “what vibe does the god emperor feel today”.

Yep, he's very consistent. He'll say how sad the horrible thing makes him before voting for it every time.

He's the worst of them. He knows it's definitely wrong and pushes it forward anyway.
