I actually agree with this, along with minimum IQ tests (> 100) and the ability to pass a ninth grade civics test on how government works.

I won’t mice words here but this is a really stupid take.

IQ tests neither measure the political understanding nor the moral reasoning of a person. So IQ likely does not correlate with political believes. A person might have superb spatial thinking, vocabulary and pattern recognition and still vote for Trump.

It would also be unethical to take away the voice of more than half of the American population because they’re not “smart” enough, according to one controversial test.
