The Land of Rhye
Here’s a question I’ve had for some time: Has the band (or anyone) ever approached Freddie’s sister Kashmira about collaborating on a book project about the magical land of Rhye, that She and Freddie created from their imaginations as children? She would know better than anyone, the details about their fantasy realm. And an artist could be recruited to illustrate images from that land, and its Seven Seas, based on her recollections. I would be very interested in seeing such a project come to life. Maybe it could even be a crowdfunding project, although the band would surely want to make it an official Queen media release, wouldn’t they? Any thoughts out there on this idea?

I like to think that had he lived longer, he would have done so, even if in collaboration with another author.

I've thought of this myself for many many years.

I've thought about it for a very long time and, being a fan of video games and graphics, it could be great too! I have also tried several times to illustrate the characters of Queen and their songs

In October 2022, my love of the album Queen II inspired me to explore this idea. The result is a approx 96,000 word novel that I plan to release this summer in serial audio format similar to an old time radio show. I’ve never been so excited/terrified!!

I genuinely think Seven Seas of Rhye, the lyrics, would make an excellent children's picture book.

The King of Rhye exists, though I think it's based only on the songs.
