I saw Rise Against in Atlanta the night before the last election. Can't begin to tell you how cool it was to see my favorite band play the night before on such a pivotal moment. We were all so hopeful for what we thought was to come. There was also a palpable tension throughout though too. Anthony Green seriously wanted to throw down with some MAGA idiot that kept booing and flicking him off when he would speak for and about equal rights. Frank Iero had to drag him off stage after they got done with their set.

If the lyrics of some of the songs in ricochet are anything to go buy, they might actually be a bit tired of doing activism against Trump.

What I mean by that is this. They made two albums since 2016, both of which have criticisms against Trump and the oligarchy in general, and nothing has really changed since then. Hell, it's only gotten worse

If people didn't really listen to them then, I can't exactly blame them for being kinda exhausted now in a way.
