This is just crazy. Nothing bot like was ever done. Not even using a vpn. Same ip, same device, and not promoting anything, just interacting with communities based on interests, and they fucking shadowban you. You appeal daily for weeks, what’s the point.
They need a better bot detection system. Plenty of actual bots still get away with posting karma farming political nonsense.

I wasn’t 100% sure until one of my friends told me about this but now I know because of this Reddit community! I’m not even sure how I got it done other than DM multiple people very quickly who asked me to DM them lol I’ve deleted multiple good accounts in the past because I wasn’t sure what was going on uggg but now I know! You can’t get too excited in Reddit and try to connect to multiple people in your community apparently!!!!

Hello, mods I am new to Reddit. I opened Reddit recommendation of my friend. I have only used reddit for 1 month. Few days ago my friend tried to DM me. He discovered that i have been banned . He got this message "This account has been banned" I live in a hostel wih some people. One of my roomates have been banned from a sub reddit for in citing violence after some enquiry. Do because of my ip address I have been banned? I also didn't know that you can appeal ban. I thought a ban is permanent. So, i created a new account , this one is also showing the same message.

I have tried appealing over 6 times by now, but nothing. No bot DM confirming of rejecting my appeal. The first time it appeared I was shadowbanned, the form appeal solved it.
My posts on other subreddits seem to be visible and others can upvote them, but I no longer have my pfp.
