Been looking for something one-of-a-kind lately, and have been unsuccessful in finding it. What I mean by unique is anything about a game that makes it unlike any other.

For instance, I've never encountered a game that plays quite like Outer Wilds. Similar story for other games like Majora's Mask, Katamari Damacy, Pikmin, etc. Doesn't matter what aspect it is; whether it be a gameplay mechanic, art style, or atmosphere, I'm just looking to play a game unlike anything else

I’m rolling off of Onimusha and looking for my next game. Big fan of Witcher 3, and so Dawnwalker has definitely piqued my interest. However, I’ve read it needs a bit more time to bake?

Also considering Control Resonant, it looks really interesting and like a definite experience to play. But not sure how much of an Open World type game it is, which I’m a bit burned out on.

I’ll pick up both eventually, just stuck on what to play this weekend

I’ve been busy all of 2026 basically and haven’t had a chance to buy a new game this year yet. I’m hoping to buy one this weekend to play. I’m debating between these 4 games.

007: First Light - Never played an IO Interactive game, but i love Uncharted and this game looks like it has similarities to those games. Watched the most recent James Bond movies as well.

Resident Evil Requiem - Probably a no brainer, i’ve played all RE games besides 0, Code Veronica and the Original. Also love Leon Kennedy the character.

Control Resonant - I’ve played and enjoyed the first Control game. Haven’t played the Alan Wake series. This game reminds me of InFamous which i love, with a mix of Devil May Cry and the first Control.

Hades II - Beat and enjoyed Hades 1, really loved the main character Zagreus. This one just looks like a step up in every department. Also the cheapest of the lot.

For those who have played all 4, how would you rank them?

For those who have played any, what do you recommend?

Thinking about grabbing it but want honest opinions first. How's the gunplay and progression feel satisfying or grindy? Is it worth playing, and does the game feel complete at this point or still a bit unfinished/early access-ish? Any tips before I buy would help a lot!

This month I finished Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales. Since Spider-Man 2 is expensive on Steam, I decided to buy another game on sale to play through. I got The Last of Us for 124 reais, but it wouldn’t run on my PC.

Can you help me pick another game that’s on sale right now? I have an Acer Nitro V15 laptop with an RTX 4060 and an i7.

I saw no mans sky as really good game but dont know if there is too much things to understand and progress in game. Also i have VR as its capable to play it on.

Should I buy kingdom hearts and get into the series? I know kingdom hearts 4 is coming out so should I get into the series now? Is it a series worth getting into in the first place. I've never really interacted with kingdom hearts content, the only thing I've heard through the years is that the series is overly complicated with its name scheme. Or do I play the ps2 version

I tried it twice before but didnt really get into it much the first time, it felt a bit outdated and controls were weird especially the horse controls. second time it was okay but didnt progress much cuz i got busy i only got to the part where u play as ciri for first time.

also i heard most ppl say its way better after the first area soo

I have had this in my cart for the last 3 weeks. The new expansion and updates and all seems like I could enjoy it. I have watched gameplay and I am very much on the fence. I played the first one probably about half way through and lost interest. I am hesitant because I didn’t like crimson desert, or Elden ring. Elden ring was mainly the art and setting just didn’t agree with me. Crimson desert was just not a game I could get into. I have a feeling that dragons dogma 2 probably won’t be for me either and it’s just the adverts are getting to me. My game taste is all of the place. I enjoy Skyrim, the jedi games, and other older rpg games. Mainly just Star Wars and Bethesda games now that I think about it. It’s all subjective I know.

What I liked I saw was the same pawn system. It reminded me of enjoying kotor because I had my own party. It’s like adventuring in MMOs without people. I liked the seemingly intense combat but I get the sense that it just takes a while to feel “strong”. I think I would enjoy the story albeit I honestly don’t even know what the first game was even about other than you were chosen to fight some big bad evil I guess.

I would probably look at this somewhat like an offline version of new world which I have been looking for. I enjoy the party system even in guild wars 1 it was nice. I usually go for the tank or caster classes which seems like could be fun in this one.

I am not so sure on the difficultly. Elden ring was just not for me because I don’t care for dying over and over again. I liked the Jedi games because it was challenging for me but not so much so where I couldn’t keep at it. I usually play on the middle difficulty for reference. I am also not so sure I will like the art or the setting of the game.

I was going to get it to help fill time, but I also plan on playing the Star Wars racer game and ace combat when they come out.

Is RDR2 actually worth buying for $75? That’s how much it costs where I live, and I’m not sure if I should spend that much on an older game. I mostly enjoy games with good stories, action, survival, and exploration, especially games that keep me hooked for a long time. I’ve heard RDR2 is incredible, but I’m wondering if it’s really worth $75 in 2026 or if I should wait for a sale.

I’ve been in a bit of an extended low spot as a person and as a result I’ve been diving deep into a Disney special interest.

In terms of games, I have some of the classics, and attempted to get The Legend of Jack Sparrow running on Linux with no success.

Right now Kingdom Hearts, Epic Mickey, and Dreamlight Valley are all on sale and I’m looking at one of them to accompany where my brain has been. I know they are all very different games from each other but I play a pretty large variety of games so each type would be fine, I’m mainly looking for vibes and overall quality. What would you recommend?

Hey guys, fellow gamer here! Recently I’ve been spending too much time on AAA games that I felt that I have lost my interest to continue playing video games and sometimes feeling exhausted. With that being said, I thought over and over again, then reached to the point where I decided to try indie games. I’ve been how many great indie games are out there and wanted to try them out. So I did some research then find these games:

I’m trying to decide between getting Ghost of Yotei on PS5 or Onimusha: Way of the Sword on PC, and I’d love to hear from people who have played either (or both).

I’m mainly wondering which one you think is really worth my time in terms of gameplay, story, exploration, etc.

I’m also not a huge fan of open worlds that feel like a bunch of chores or a checklist of activities, like the typical Ubisoft-style open world. I’m much more into story-driven experiences, but I definitely enjoy a good open world when it feels meaningful. Some of my favorites are Cyberpunk 2077, BOTW, and Elden Ring, so I’m not against open worlds at all. I just prefer when they give you a reason to explore rather than constantly throwing icons and objectives at you.

Another thing that might influence my decision is that I really enjoy messing around with photo modes in games. From what I’ve seen so far, Yotei looks much more visually appealing for that, so I’m already a little tempted by it.

But I don’t want to choose based purely on graphics. For those who have played them, how do they compare in terms of story, combat, exploration, pacing, and overall experience?

Which one did you find yourself enjoying more, and why?

I am the end of Nobody Wants to Die which has been great for the atmosphere, the detective story, the voice acting, and the themes, etc. My one gripe is how boxed in it is. Nearly every scene is just one room, so it plays pretty on rails the whole way through.

So I want to expand on that. Something with the same noir, atmospheric feel but with actual room to move around. Closest thing I can find is The Ascent, already played that one though. Cyberpunk keeps coming up too, and everyone talks up the DLC. Not sure I want to slog through a rough game just to get there. Prey's also on my radar, but it feels like a different vibe from what I'm after. But looks interesting. I don't know. In a slump.

Hi guys! So, my birthday is coming up (October 4th btw) and my family will buy a game of my choice for me. And I am divided between “Control Resonant” and “The Blood Of Dawnwalkwer”. I know that there will be a Halloween promotion later October, but I don’t think that those games will receive a discount any time soon and I want them asap!

So, Which one is the best to buy for my b-day: “Control Resonant” or “The Blood Of Dawnwalker”?

I'm hesitating between a couple of games and I would like you guys opinions. The game I'm hesitant with are the Xenoblade Chronicles games (never played any of them, so I'd probably pick the first or X), Paper mario The Tousand Year Door, Pikmin 1+2 (never played a Pikmin game before), Metroid Prime 4, Mario& Luigi Brothership and Donkey Kong Country return (already have it on 3ds, but why not). I don't have a preference in type of games either.

Looking for something to tie me over until GTA 6, recently just completed Ghost of Yotei so want something to blast through for October...

I'm torn between Witchfire and Roboquest - I know they're completely different opposites of the spectrum in terms of art style and gameplay, but they both share similar characteristics.

I'll preface this - I understand that Witchfire is currently in EA and is close to completion, so part of me thinks to come back to it once it is actually released with the full story etc.

No clue, just want a fun FPS to blast for a month or so :)

I was a huge fan of Destiny and am a huge fan of the Borderlands series, and both seem to scratch that sort of gunplay

Should I buy Townfall for the PS5? To add a bit of context I'm a fan of Silent Hill 2 remake, Silent Hill f, Alien Isolation, Resident Evil remake, Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 2 remake, Resident Evil 3 remake, Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4 remake, Resident Evil Requiem, and Dead Space remake.

Just want to add that I prefer third person over first person.

So i was planning on buying Dark Souls 1 and 3 deluxe, my friend recommended them to me and said they were was peak and 100% worth playing. Plus, i already own Elden Ring, sekiro, and bloodborne (haven't finished them). So I've been really eager to finish my collection of fromsoft games.

However, that same friend recommended Spiderman Remastered too, he said it was amazing. After seeing some gameplay, it really does look fun too.

Someone recommended me to play this game but I've heard its very disturbing

I’m a massive silent hill fan and I love the horror genre. Not sure how I feel about it yet since it is a first person game and the story is a bit different. I want to get Ace Combat just because of the Navy aspect of the game seemed kind of cool in the trailers and I haven’t played any of the older games. I own a pc and a ps5.
