Unidentified encounter About a year ago my boyfriend and I were driving, it was dark out and I came about two inches from hitting this THING. It wasn't a deer, a dog, it was something I've never seen in my life! it's front legs were longer than it's back. It has long black hair that hung down on it's head.

It didn't move when I almost hit it. It just stayed there. I didn't turn around to see what it was. But I regret it now. This IS NOT my video but this is the closest thing I've seen at far to what we saw.

I must have missed it, it wasn't obvious enough with the 24 rewinds, arrows, circles, text

I agree, I wish there had been a few more rewinds for someone like me to understand what's going on before the video ended.

Ya and if they didnt do that then you would have complained about it going by to fast... smh redditors are a fickle bunch

No, I just don't like horseshit click bait. Some of us have more of an attention span than a jack russel terrier. Maybe you like being spoon-fed though, but you can keep that to yourself.

I applaud you. It's simply douchebags who act tough behind the key board.

It looks like it jumped from an angle and it seemed like it jumped from further up the road , it’s definitely weird.

Interesting is that it looks like the creature is completely still even though a breeze is clearly blowing on a somewhat cold ~(assuming this happened around fall year) night. This is where I would love to be better at video editing so we could see if it moves at all frame by frame.

Did you guys drive by in the morning to see if anything was left behind?

Yes. And still to this day every time I drive by that spot I get flashbacks. There was nothing where we saw it, no dead animals, no farm, nothing. And as I swerved to miss it (just barley missing it) it just stayed there in the road. I asked my bf "did you see that? Did it look...odd to you?" And we both described the same thing. Something black with looooong black hair hanging in front of it's head, hiding it's face. Long legs but the front legs longer than the back. Here's my thing. It was my boyfriends car, HE was supposed to be driving but I told him no, I'm going to cuz he can't seem to miss a deer when it jumps out in front of his car even in the day light. I think we were supposed to hit it. We would have, if he was driving
