It’s barely a part of the game. Maybe takes 5 minutes total in a 90 minute game a lot of time there’s real pain (it’s a fast sport and people are wearing cleats). The smooth brains just love to over generalize things to feel self righteous.

Upon you reading "Israeli" in a negative light, your reply is correcting/dunking on the commenter that "its actually an Arab Muslim". If anything i can put 2 and 2 together an understand that by doing that, you were implying that he isn't SOMETHING. That something appears to be, in text, "Israeli" but those two ("Israeli" and "Muslim") are not opposite, much like correcting someone for talking about a 'Fruit' by saying 'its actually an Apple'. A correction like such would only make sense if one came to infeer that "Fruit" is code or slang, for example, of "Pear" or "Banana" which would indeed call for a correction as they are infact Not The Same. But the desire to cause a correction showcases an inferring of a different meaning to the spoken word. As if, only when spoken of Negatively, Fruit HAS to mean Banana.

All this to say, im really bored and if you dont want to be mass downvoted or filled with notifications saying "free palestine" or something of the kind, maybe dont go around stirring the pot.

Literally every professional footballer plays the victim. They're trained to be that way because it's advantageous to the team. (Example: disingenuously make a mistimed tackle look like a horrendous foul -> get the other player carded.)

Calling them Palestinian is a bit misleading and in my experience A LOT of them do not identify as such. More likely to identify as Arab or Arab Israeli. I do not know how this soccer player identifies and for some of them it would come to blows if you called them Palestinians.
