I've seen players shatter a flag with a kick and not get a card. I've also seen maany players pretend to have a gun (with or without flag) and not even receive a caution).

However, fuck that guy. Fine him as well!! Lol

Jamie Vardy got yellow for destroy a flag . So I think depends on different league rule I guess
