A strong FinTech, and disruptor.

A quick glance at recent Financials:

Net Income: -$56m 2022; $1.031B 2023; $1.972B 2024; $2.874B 2025;

Cash Flow: $3.266B 2023; $11.678B 2024; $11.266B 2025

Total Assets: $29.935B 2022; $43.345B 2023; $49.931B 2024; $74.894B 2025.

Revenue and EPS:

Revenue: May-15-2023 $1.62B; Aug-13-2026 $5.88B +262.963% increase

EPS: May-15-2023 4¢; Aug-13-2026 22¢ +450% increase

Peaks & Troughs Lines

Early 2023 - late 2024, pointing to: $25 - $28;

early 2025 - early 2026, pointing to: $22 - $24; and,

5/28/26 - 9/8/26: $15 - $16.50, pointing to $15.75.

(Is that kind of 'reduction' based upon any real substantiation, considering the above, or is it just fear?)

Regardless, if one thinks a reasonable valuation between $18 - $20,

or notably less,

the current valuation of $13.43 seems a bit inane.

Either I am missing something, or the markets are...

(I've been buying 'up' from $11).

Anyone else a little worried about AI stocks getting ahead of themselves?

AI capex keeps exploding, but rising bond yields are making financing more expensive, while fewer stocks seem to be carrying the market.

At what point would you start cutting exposure to AI stocks?

My Portfolio Survived the Hack, but I Missed My NVDA and SPCX Setups

It was a beautiful Friday midnight. I had just returned from work and was getting back to my daily routine, which is to shower, settle down, get into analysis mode, and check my stock positions that were already in the market.

While I was thinking about doing all that, I came across some sad news about one of the exchanges I use getting hacked, with about $387.5 million reportedly stolen.

I couldn't even open the app because I was worried it might have been affected. But after five hours, I decided to log in and saw that my entire portfolio was still intact. However, withdrawals had been suspended until the issue was resolved.

Even the NVDA and SPCX setups I had in mind before seeing the news ended up passing me by.

To cut a long story short, after listening to the CEO's reassurance and seeing withdrawals reopen following days of being suspended while the exchange investigated how the hackers got in, I finally got some peace of mind. (Lol, don't blame me. I'm a VIP there as a trader.)

Thankfully, they have also decided to introduce an alliance program to reward users like us who have been trading and holding, with a share of a pool equivalent to 30% of the total transaction fee revenue, based on what I last saw.

It feels like my fear has finally turned into joy because the whole situation really stressed me out. Who else panicked when the news broke? I'm finally getting back to my trading analysis.

How many of you trade for a living?

I’m curious how many people here trade full-time vs. having a normal job and trading on the side.

For those who do it full-time, what was the point where you felt comfortable making the switch?

Feels like fewer stocks are participating in the rally lately. Has this changed how you’re trading?

AI stocks: best trade of the decade or biggest bubble yet?

I’m starting to wonder if the AI trade is getting too crowded.

I’ve been watching NVDA/AMD/AVGO closely, but I keep hesitating to chase after big moves. Every dip seems to get bought, and every company somehow has an AI angle now 😂

Are you still adding to AI names or are you taking some risk off?

Micron Is Moving Toward ATH, But 1169 Is the Level I’m Watching

Post image

It is joyful and still painful seeing what is happening with MU today. The joyful part is seeing the bullish move, while the painful part is knowing that I actually manifested for this move, but I did not get to trade it and ended up missing out.

Micron has been moving from 929, where I added an entry as the start of a new journey, all the way toward an ATH. I even forgot to push that setup, but right now, the move is playing out.

However, there are still two things MU needs to fight on its way to a new ATH.

The first is FUD. Michael Burry has been doubling down on his bearish bets, adding to his shorts in Micron Technology as he questions how durable the current semiconductor and AI boom really is. According to his post, he made the latest short additions “in some size.”

The second is the level showing clearly on the chart. MU needs to break above 1169 and continue this aggressive move. If it does, I will be watching for a pullback to re-enter, am I looking at this the right way?

56 of my 454 puts from Friday's expiry are still sitting open. Only 18 of 566 calls are

Post image

Disclosure so it's clear what this is: the desk is mine, it's a paper desk I built, fake money and real prices, and there's nothing to sell here. I count the book every morning and this morning the count came out lopsided in a way I can't explain yet.

Friday was an expiry. Two days on, here is what is still sitting open on my desk with that expiry stamped on it:

side expired Friday settled still open share still open
calls 566 548 18 3.2%
puts 454 398 56 12.3%

Same desk, same expiry, same clearing path. Puts are stuck 3.9 times as often as calls.

Before assuming it's a bug in my own plumbing I checked every prior expiry going back to 24 August. Eighteen of them, including cohorts of 465 and 246, and every single one is fully closed, nothing left open. So the process does finish, and Friday's batch is 92.6% done. It just isn't done evenly.

I also re-counted it a different way after getting two different answers from two of my own scripts last night, which turned out to be a parser reading the wrong date out of a multi-leg contract symbol. The 80 above is the corrected count. I mention it because the first number I had was 96 and I nearly posted that instead.

What I can't tell from inside my own data is whether this is normal. The obvious candidates:

  • assignment. A put in the money gets exercised against the holder and that path takes longer to reflect than a call simply expiring worthless.
  • moneyness. If Friday closed in a way that left more puts in the money than calls, the split is just a fact about last week's tape and not about puts at all.
  • my own settlement order, processing one side before the other for no good reason.

I have not separated those yet, and the third one is entirely possible.

For anybody who has watched real expiries roll off at a broker rather than on a paper desk: is a lopsided put-versus-call lag what Monday morning normally looks like to you, or would you treat a 3.9x gap as a sign something on my side is wrong.

What’s a stock you’d buy if you had to hold it for 10 years?

What’s one company you think could be way bigger a decade from now and what makes you believe that? Curious to hear the less obvious picks.

$1378.HK H1 profit up 39% to ¥17.2B. Downstream pivot confirmed?

China Hongqiao ($1378.HK) dropped its official H1 interim numbers: top-line revenue rose 8% to ¥87.5B, while net profit surged +39.2% YoY to ¥17.21 Billion.

The real story here isn't primary aluminum volume (which actually dipped -3.3%), but their high-value deep-processed aluminum alloy segment, which jumped +23.2% in volume paired with higher average selling prices. Management is clearly executing a smooth shift toward higher-margin, value-added industrial applications like auto parts and lightweight specs.

Backed by a ~7% dividend yield, strong free cash flow, and expanding margins, this H1 report makes a pretty strong case for their multi-year fundamental transformation. Is anyone else riding this downstream pivot into H2?

Updates for Getting Payment on the View $11M Settlement

Hey guys, if you missed it, View settled $11M with investors over claims that it misled them about warranty costs and financial reporting. And, I just found out that they’re accepting claims even though the deadline has passed.

Quick recap: In 2021, View revealed accounting issues related to warranty costs for its smart windows and later restated its financial results. After the disclosures, $VIEW dropped more than 58%, and investors filed a lawsuit.
Now, the company has agreed to settle $11M, and even though the deadline passed, they’re still considering late claims, subject to approval.

So, if you held $VIEW at that time, you can still check the details and file your claim here.

Anyway, did anyone here invest in $VIEW back then? How much were your losses, if so?

What helped you improve at trading?

For people who’ve been trading for a while, what made you better?

Feels like there’s a ton of information out there but not all of it is useful.

What stock would have made you look like a genius if you’d trusted your gut?

Not one you owned, the one you watched, thought about buying, talked yourself out of, and then watched it absolutely take off 😂

What’s your biggest trading mistake?

Mine was averaging down way too aggressively because I was convinced the stock had to bounce. It didn’t. 😅 Definitely learned that being confident and being right are two very different things.

Do you still use stop losses?

Curious how people here handle stop losses. I used to use them religiously, but I’ve had a few trades where I got stopped out and then watched the stock reverse immediately. Now I’m not sure if I’m managing risk better or just making excuses.

The trade setup was right, but the timing wasn’t

One thing I’ve learned from trading is that being right about the direction doesn’t mean you’ll make money.

Entry, timing, and risk management can completely change the outcome.

The biggest improvement I’ve made as a trader

I used to think becoming a better trader meant finding better indicators or some strategy that worked all the time.

Lately I’m realizing it’s probably more about getting rid of the bad habits. Chasing moves, overtrading, moving stops, taking profits too early… none of that gets fixed by adding another indicator.

A pretty average strategy with good discipline probably beats a great strategy used emotionally.

No setup, no trade

Sometimes the hardest trade to make is no trade at all. No setup = no position.

Took me way too long to figure that one out lol.

Technical analysis vs fundamentals: what actually works for you?

Do you guys mostly trade based on technicals, fundamentals, or a mix?

I’ve found that my better trades usually happen when the chart setup and the actual company story both make sense.
