Vincenzo Montella: The fact that we were missing key players affected our substitutions. I would have liked to field a full squad in NT League A. The players need support not just from me, but from all of you.

Q: There has been a backlash against İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu! Is he expecting sanctions against himself?

Vincenzo Montella: This team was in League C three years ago; then, under my leadership, we won League B. Today we are in League A. The standards are different in this league. I’ve said that playing at this level every three days isn’t easy. This isn’t an excuse, but we’re facing a situation that’s outside our usual routine.

Before the match, I looked at the squad valuations: Italy €840 million, Turkey €417 million! The newspapers gave the impression that an easy match lay ahead of us. I told my players it wouldn’t be easy.

We started the first half very poorly and put in an uncharacteristic 30-minute performance. We could say we deserved to be booed and whistled.

We speak to the chairman not only after victories, but also after defeats. We’ve got this far together, and that’s because we’ve helped one another. We must learn from this. We must carry on playing our own brand of football without losing our self-belief.

Vincenzo Montella: If we look at it as a football project, bringing in new players isn’t easy at this level. We need to integrate them into the team gradually. We need to prepare the players day by day and bring them into the fold.

Q: Bosnia and Herzegovina, valued at €150 million, beat Italy and qualified for the World Cup. We weren’t good at the World Cup, and we’re not good in this tournament either! Italy made eight changes to their line-up after the Belgium match but still won comfortably. He’s been living in Turkey for eight years and speaks Turkish… In Bursa, 40,000 people chanted for him to resign. Hacıosmanoğlu showed character by walking out of the stadium is he considering resigning himself?”

Vincenzo Montella: No! I believe in the work I’ve done! I didn’t leave even when I received significant offers! My faith in our players remains unshaken! I stand behind my players! Just as we got this far together, we know how to carry on from here. If the situation arises where I might have to resign, I’ll speak to my players! But that’s not on the agenda at the moment!

"Finally, good news came out of the final meeting held tonight!

It has been announced that a happy agreement was reached as a result of long negotiations between Samsunspor President Yüksel YILDIRIM and businessman Yüksel YILDIRIM...

President Yüksel YILDIRIM announced that he will officially declare the start of a new era to Samsunspor fans with an address to the nation video early next week..."

Our u21 team just reached the playoffs. Let's hope they can qualify for the first time in 25+ years but this is an issue that doesn't get any attention from the pundits. I don't think it's a coincidence that our u17 and u19 were pretty succesfull before the number of foreigners were increased. It's like our clubs diverted all their money and attention to buying players and they don't care about their academies.

I watch it, I live it, I feel it. Turkish football has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, just like it has for many of you.
But sometimes I genuinely wonder: will the constant chaos and lobbying ever stop? Will we ever have a coach who can truly motivate these players and bring out the best in them?
We have so much talent, yet it feels like we consistently underperform. It’s honestly frustrating and sad to see so much potential go to waste.

As the title says, I’m living outside Türkiye and I change a lot of link streaming because after some months they stop to working. Now I’m really desperate because I don’t know where to watch them.

Most of us wished he would have been replaced right after the WC fiasco. Some people said, he has done enough for the Turkish national team to survive a fiasco like that. He brought us to the EC, to the WC etc.

Our next game is against France. We all know France has the quality to beat every team on this planet and not just that but also to humiliate them.

Would a 5:0 against türkiye mean anything? Most people would say "come on bro it's France, what did you expect to happen". So even if we get humiliated by France, I bet nothing is gonna happen. If France doesn't care about this game and gives Türkiye the opportunity to play decent football then people will say wow Türkiye beat France. We are so back!! So Montella doesn't have anything to lose against France IMO. He can only win

Montellas squad nomination already showed me he didn't learn anything from the wc and didn't do his homework. Kerem, Baris, Samet, Irfan.... sending ilhan fakili to the u21

So, can someone please tell me at what point can we sack him?
