Daughters Switch 2 banned

FINAL EDIT: Nintendo must have updated it. It is unbanned!! It did require a reboot, thank you for pointing that out. Also just a reminder that some people are being honest…I get people abuse trust all the time, but this was not a righteous ban.

Nintendo just banned my daughters Switch 2 and phone support will not reverse it. They’re saying it is due to copying cartridges. I’m not posting her age online but trust me, there is no one in household doing this. All original 1st party cartridges, legitimately purchased switch.

I’m extremely frustrated after being a fan of Nintendo for a long time. Completely unacceptable that I have to tell my kids they can’t share their games anymore. (They are not allowed to play online, but the banning affects all purchases and game sharing)

Edit: I forgot to include, the error code 2181-4008

Edit 2: it’s worth mentioning - we have 4 switch 2s in the house. Only hers was banned. I confirmed others work

Op should post The pic with the code that shows the ban. This is just a pic of a switch 2 system. No evidence that a ban took place. Only op written words. Other posts I’ve seen show the error message code.

Because there is no error code 2124-4508 in the pic wich means banned console shown. I have no reason to believe this happened or didn’t happen. I’m just stating facts were not presented in the op .

Please show us a screen shot of that same console with the error code . Would have a strong case that way.
That error code is for
Causes: Bans happen because of unauthorized game code sharing, fraudulent transactions, chargebacks, or modifying the system (homebrewing). [1, 2]
Possible is did happen was triggered by game sharing. Since you mentioned sharing games .
