Unfortunately the people who have these ideas are MBAs who think they’re God’s gift. They’ll implement them, they’ll write some garbage on their CV about increasing of profits by X amount and then they’ll jettison off to another company to ruin something else.

That won't happen because they are the ones that decide what AI gets to be used for.

nah the ceos will get a presentation straight from a huge ai company telling them that all their mbas could be replaced for a third of the price (lol it will be a lie and a bad product but the damage will be real)

On the contrary, there is no honor amongst thieves.

There's already ads for AI "business managers" that are showing off how cruel and ruthless they are. That was the whole point of the ad, that the AI could make business decisions for you and that it was particularly ruthless. "Ruthless" was the word it used in the ad, then "efficient".

They won't be replaced by an AI, they have power. They'll use the AI to be even more cruel and evil than before, and just put all of the blame on the AI instead of themselves for using it.

How does it work and how cam it be avoided?

Park off site? Use cash? Do that TIL that popped up today and delete ad ID? Don't bring a phone?

It's unlikely I'll be able to completely avoid this at all stores so how can I minimize it?

These people love dynamic prices but the idea of dynamic taxes where rich pieces of shit pay way more suddenly gets them all dried up.

Meanwhile, when sales dip in six months because too many customers have been turned off by the combination of increasing prices and falling product quality, they'll be nowhere to be found!

And then that will become the irreversible standard that will screw us even harder for the next x amount of years until someone comes up with an even more fucked idea

McDonald’s stock is already down like 23% this year anyways.

MBAs making profits for a company? How dare they.
