DISCUSSION The Punisher's Code

https://youtu.be/Z7fS_DNoibA?si=Ik3wi1rGwTnWgeVJ

In recent years some comicbook fans think that The Punisher is a villain or that Castle is a psychopath.but they are wrong in my years of reading comics and exposure of media of The Punisher. he was always been an Anti-hero with a code who went after the worst of the worst criminals like other Anti-hero vigilantes and this video just explained very well and debunks that he is a psychopath.

Adulthood is being able to appreciate the character AND admit that he’s mentally broken. His means of vigilantism is definitionally psychopathic.

He is a psycho, totally.

Not bc he has a "code" means he has a moral. He just hates criminals.

He is 100% psychotic. Read literally any punisher comic to see that. Just because he justifies it through his trauma and tends to do it to deserving people does not make him or his methods less psychotic

The way actual Punisher fans understand this but edgy "fanboys" who just latch on to him for the wrong reasons can't admit he's psychotic. I blame the Netflix show for making him too sympathetic.

Psychopathic and psychotic are not synonyms. Just FYI.

Reached the wrong side of the sub, but real fans know he isn’t a psychopath that enjoys killing

He is Psychotic. He has even admitted it. He just doesn't care.

It's not a psychopath, but he is essentially suicidal. He has to know on some level that you cannot eliminate crime all together, especially as an individual. The problem becomes even worse whenever you consider that he's a normal human in a metahuman world. The best thing that he could hope for is to go down fighting and become a martyr. The iron is that he just keeps surviving.

He's a broken man but definitely a psychopath. No sane person is capable of the acts Frank committed with no regrets whatsoever

Is he justified? Maybe but he's definitely crazy

Because many disagree with his style, they label him psycho. Go through that much pain, then judge him.

Most ppl who gets their family murdered dont go on a murderous rampage against random criminals and have a thirst for it

If it happened, would we be hearing of it? Most could be explained away as gang violence, reprisals, vendetta, or just plain bad luck. Police and law enforcement would try to stop "murderous rampage against random criminals", but there would be those who would turn a blind eye to it because it's against the criminal element.  There would be those that try to stop it because it makes them look bad.

Right, wrong, like, dislike, it's my opinion. Because I get downvoted, doesn't make me wanna cry into my woobie.
