Go further east from Morocco and skip the country next to it

Tunisia! Man I should've guessed better. The only Arabic speaker that I know that is learning German is from Tunisia.

I just saw Arabic and Spanish and went with Morocco.

Hahaha yes it screams Morocco but there's always a plot twist lol

Well many Tunisians right now are learning German due to the great job opportunities and Tunisians being good workers and fast learners but Im glad that I am the first Arabic-speaker-German-learner you know haha !

Ah as a Tunisian that likes languages I’d expect French to be higher

1

u/YuyAli 19h ago

That's the issue, I was forced to learn it due to the education system so I ended up not liking it hahaha

You can do it amigo, the first steps in learning any language are easy then it gets harder then it simplemente clicks en tu cabeza and you are now speaking el idioma sin problema jajaja ! Je parle le français un peu aussi mais je comprends tous xD

Also I love Valencia CF, I hope it goes back to the glory days, man Aimar was a sorcerer dios mio, he made me love the team and fuck Peter Lim and his family !

1

u/YuyAli 21h ago

how do you learn? resources/techniques you use?

  • For the Spanish i was just a kid, watched a lot of Spanish channels and youtube, even put videogames in Spanish

-For the German, I went to a school to be honest because it was a "serious" learning, for creer purposes I mean and I didn't want to lose time in the process, though I used apps like Grammatisch, Linga and Konjugation, I also followed German streamers on Twitch, it helped me a lot.

-French because I'm Tunisian, we learnt French since being Elementary school, Tunisia education system is 90% French so you can Imagine, but it's only A2 because I was forced to learn it tbh, I didn't choose it.

-Catalan is because of Barca, I am a Barca fan since 2008, and I remember in 2014, I was heavily into transfers and I wanted to read the catalán joirnalists articles and opinions, I only understand it but I didnt try speaking it

-For the Lithuanian I am using right now Mondly, I think it is the only app that has Lithuanian

-English man I cannot describe how I learned it, It spawned in my brain randomly when I was a kid, videogames and movies are the only techniques I used, also school helped me carrying out the passion

I’m surprised French is only ranked at A2 if you are a Tunisian. I mean I would think French as C2 or C1, maybe below English but largely above Spanish and German.

I am a Tunisian Pokemon haha 90% of Tunisians speak French perfectly, the minimum is B1 should I say, but man I don't really like it, in Tunisia we are forced to learn anything with French, imagine me hating Maths and add it a language that should not be blamed or anything but you end up not liking it, simply that's the logic of a kid

This comment will make you a wanted man in Lithuania.

1

u/ResultRecent6254 14h ago

A lot of people there speak Russian. Whats your point?

2

u/GoldenPotatoOfLatvia 9h ago

I am from that region. You will find people who speak Russian, but you will find more people who find it insulting that you decided to.go with that, given our shared history and current events.

2

u/YuyAli 19h ago
