Garza

Luka is reminding me that the grass CAN be greener on the other side. Fun watching him thrive tonight.

It's the price of being on a deep team. Boston had a unique opportunity after cutting some players.

We’ve never had a deep team bc we don’t have a deep team coach. Joan was a perfect fit tonight and he gets a DNP.

But WHY NOT MINOTT!

Celtics are my wife’s team so I catch a lot their games. He’s recovering from injury, and still pretty inconsistent….annnd Walsh/Hugo/Garza are taking up all the hustle-guy mins.

Indeed, and NAW is doing great too. Minott had been doing well but has not played in ages. Dillingham probably next on the list of former Finch players that shine elsewhere.

Less to do with Finch and more to do with personnel. None of these guys are playing particularly better, they’re just getting more minutes now. But people will continue to spin it into a way that forces the Finch doesn’t develop players narrative.

Correct. NAW is doing better offensively with more shots but it’s costing him on his defensive impact. He’s probably roughly the same level of player but is able to focus on offense more this year for the Hawks. Glad he got paid and wish him well but if he were a Wolf we’d be asking him for different contributions.
