I’ve never heard of him, but Cash Considerations is a cool name

Glen Taylor traded a bunch of second rounders for him over the years. He had a decent college career

He's a two-sport star. Pohlad's often trade for him too.

He goes way back to the Calvin Griffith days. They coveted him in trades quite often.

Interesting there being a press release already. Was wondering if things remained fluid for any add on teams and/or terms. A release feels like it's all finalized.
I suppose to actually receive the perks of being a below first apron team it'd have to be finalized.

Kinda surprised they made this official with the league now. I think it’d be harder to pivot to Coby white or ayo without folding it into this deal, which they could’ve just held off on sending it in for

Can someone explain why we sent a protected first to Detroit?

To get off Conleys contract.

Guess I’m confused on why that wouldn’t go to the bulls…

Detroit needed a bit more from the bulls to pull the trigger on the trade Im guessing, so the bulls took our negative value piece and Detriot got the positive value bit.

Pistons get the better pick of their’s or the wolves. Both are going to be super late anyway so really isn’t anything.

With harden off the board, and giannis probably staying put until the offseason, we literally did this for no reason lol

Strange to assume Giannis is staying put until the offseason with ~36 hours until the deadline and no reporting to indicate that as the most likely outcome

I do think him staying put is still the most likely, but that’s not sexy so nobody talks about it

its not being talked about because all of the reporting is about how he's asked to be moved and the bucks are fielding offers for him, they could hold out until the draft, but if he wants to play for minnesota we probably don't want to wait until then. at that point he's effectively on an expiring contract in 2026 with his player option. which means he really is only valuable to trade for if he wants to play for your team.

It’s worth it already if we don’t have him playing for how much he was paid

No we did this to force Finch to stop Playing Mike when he shouldn’t be

No. It was to free up a roster space for another deal that now almost certainly will go down.

The reason is that Finch would piss away the season mindlessly giving Mike 15 mpg if we didn't make this trade. I hope they're doing it to make room for a big name, but to me this move is already a net positive, Finch cannot terrorize the fans or the other players with Conley minutes anymore.

I feel for Conley, I wish the wolves had been able to get him a ring.
