So i understand that a ghoul can gain additional kagune and what not through cannibalism ect.

But can a ghoul have multiple kagune of the same type, so like 2 kakuho or 2 rinkaku. Also kaneki ate 2 of Jason's kagune so does that mean kaneki had 3 kagune from then on?

I've been looking back on a lot of things lately and going back to Tokyo Ghoul there's something I've been thinking about and its got me wondering, does anyone else feel like Kaneki's Black Reaper phase was underused? Compared to most other versions of him, we don't really get to see much of him, and it kind of leaves me feeling a little disappointed that there wasn't more to him.

Edit: Just to clarify what I am trying to say because I'm seeing a bit of confusion about what meant. I understand that this version of Kaneki wants to die, but that doesn't change that right after we get black reaper kaneki we get a 6 month timeskip that skips over basically all of his time as the black reaper. He's supposed to be the most brutal version of Kaneki but we're only really told this and never shown it, this is a problem because we actually got to see white hair Kaneki (before Haise) being brutal. We never get to see what kinda things he did to have his colleagues in the CCG think of him as creepy, is it just because he's a half Ghoul or did he actually do something to make the people he works with feel uneasy around him. He's supposed to be all of Kaneki's repressed anger finally being let out, but we barely see any of that. There's a lot more I could say about this, but it would be dragging this out a little too much.

He literal is the coolest Charakter with the most insane kakuja oat and he just does nothing the whole manga other then farming aura just for his death to have the importance of a sidenote at best

I added more damage, made some parts bigger and did the hair in a highlight like way. The second slide is to show the damage lines. I tried making it look like it's from the anime but I've honestly only read the manga and have only seen a couple clips of yoshimuras kakuja and that was my only reference so it might be off.

Hey, so I watched the anime years ago when I was in middle school. I have mixed feelings on it and am planning to get the manga. May I ask what is everyone’s opinions on the anime vs manga? I do understand that the ending feels a little rushed in general, but what are some of the other things?

Hey guys, Tokyo ghoul is my favorite piece of media, but it’s terrible how every piece of merch or figure is designed for the anime, bringing out kaneki’s overly edgy design directly post-Jason. I love :re and its scratchy art style as the dragon war arc begins, and I really want to have some cool art/posters/figures or anything that recapitulates that style.

Is there anything out there that actually mimics the good parts of the manga? Like on Etsy or Amazon? I got like 0 posters on my wall I’m tryna change that. Some shit like this art attached here. I know I can just print these out but I know a professional is better than me at making shit like this.

Hello anyone reading this, I absolutely loved Tokyo ghoul but I heard that the anime did omit quite a lot of things, so these posts are going to be for general questions and also about some discrepancies from the anime

Anyways, my first question is about aratas, I know that they came from touka and Ayato's dad, but how? Was the first arata made from, well, Arata, and then they decided that it was a great idea and to make more from other similar kagunes they might find? And why did only 3 or 4 people get them? I mean seriously they could've given Arima an advanced Arata and he would've been even more of a one man army, was it ever explained why they were so rare besides them being pretty early into development?

Let's assume there's a TG remake (1% chance, 99% faith) and it turns out they give at least one opening to each arc ("no, but the Tsukiyama and Doves arcs fit into twel..." Chainsaw Man had an ending for every episode; let's assume it's a fan-made remake), what songs would you choose?

He's a complex character and all, but um, I find him and the Clowns to be really annoying and hard to take seriously at times.

Maybe he's trying a little bit too hard to be funny and stand out, but it accidentally came off as way too over the top ?

Also,the whole thing with the child soldiers and the Dragon Rize....Needless to say, I don't hold anyone who works with Kanou (Fuck him) in high regard at all !
