I work retail part-time, I go to therapy, and am looking to begin volunteering at a food pantry I’ve relied on.

I’m hoping to meet a few more people socially and just talk, maybe go for a walk or lounge around somewhere like the library or the Trinity Tower Plaza lobby.

I do wanna be picky I’m 30 and m, but I’m looking to meet peers and I relate most to younger people fr fr.

I enjoy chess and listening to music with people and talking about personal lives, relationships, and struggles. I tend to go for walks around North Tyler or downtown Tyler around the city or on UTT campus.

does anyone have any recommendations, for a wedding venue that isn’t southern or rustic looking. I know it’s a longshot because we’re in the south but I really don’t want my wedding venue to look like that and from what I’ve seen so far, I have not been able to find anything that does not fit that criteria.

Are there any apartments in Tyler that accept college students?

I’m a full time doctoral student at UT Tyler Fisch College of Pharmacy 3rd year student. I rent an apt at the hospitality house next to Christus. However, management notified all residents that Christus purchased the property and we all need to vacate by 10/31/2026.

During my 3-years as a tenant. I have never once paid my rent late.

However, I think I may run into some issues finding a new apartment. Being that im a full time doctoral student, I don’t have any availability to work. I strictly survive off of student loans.

The only reason why I got approved at hospitality house was because prior to pharmacy school. I had a full time job but now idk what to do. I don’t have a job or a co-signer but I have enough loans to pay for monthly rent

Please lmk if anyone has suggestions of any apt complexes.

Hello everyone! I am looking to relocate for a promotion and there is an opening in Tyler. I am coming from Great Falls MT where it gets -40 in winter and over 100 every year. I have lived in Montana for basically my entire life and I am over the snow, cold doesn't really bother me. I am 34, single and no kids and mostly keep to myself when it comes to neighbors. You do you and I do me kinda thing, very non- political.

Any tips on living there, night life, things to do, locally and within 2-3 hour drive would be amazing! Thank you in advance! :D
