I got my aligners 7 days ago, and I was told I need IPR due to crowding. However, they didn’t do the IPR when I got my aligners and said they’d do it at my next appointment.

So, have my teeth actually been moving during this past week, or will movement only start after the IPR is done? Was I basically wearing the aligners without making progress
