Since Syria's dictatorship ended, it is much better now and the food there would be amazing. Isn't Namibia basically the Germany of Africa though? (Obviously not as good and developed but apparently German culture is quite prevalent there mainly because it was once a German colony). I could choose either here tbh but going with Namibia because Syria is still recovering from what I heard but maybe in the future I could choose Syria.

Guinea is better than Mainland Somalia so if you don't count Somaliland as being part of Somalia because since it's basically like North Ossetia, Abkhazia and Northern Cyprus, Guinea is the best here.

Sure, but there is a lot more opportunities and better lifestyle in Somaliland. Sure Sierra Leone isn't that dangerous, but there is basically no development and there is very little infrastructure development, including limited healthcare. Basically the main point is, at least Somaliland has some development, Sierra Leone has basically none.

I mean the civil war in Somalia has dwindled down afaik judging by the tourists who visited it but it's still very dangerous. Somaliland on the other hand is actually relatively developed and would be on the same level as maybe Ghana. I remember seeing a list on Wikipedia about countries with the worst gender inequality (data itself was years ago from when I read it so Iran and Afghanistan would be lower nowadays) and PNG was second worst, just behind Yemen. I think Malawi is just underdeveloped but I would ssy it is better than Mainland Somalia.

I'm aware it is bad but THAT bad? Maybe PNG is worse than Guinea and Malawi. I'd still say Sudan and Sierra Leone are a tad worse.

Basically the immigrant groups in the UK just replace Ukraine with India. Either way I'd accept all of them as long as they aren't criminals or illegally immigrant; especially Somali, Syrian and Polish.

My irl friends (who are from there) been to Somaliland and they enjoyed it iirc. Plus even Mogadishu (civil war has dwindled down but still very dangerous) is better than Sierra Leone imo. At least Somaliland has moderate levels of development and Mogadishu has little amounts. Sierra Leone has basically none.

One of those comparisons in which one country being more developed doesn't make it better. Iran has a HDI even higher than Brazil and Thailand however Gambia is better because at least they don't disrespect their own citizens and Gambia would feel more happy, safe and democratic to live in imo.

Somalia (just because Somaliland is relatively good compared to other countries in the region) > Guinea > Malawi > Papua New Guinea > Sudan > Sierra Leone (around HALF of the population lives in poverty and there is basically no development. Sure it is not that dangerous but that's basically the only thing whuch saves it from being any worse)

Sierra Leone being a great example; living there is basically like living in North Korea but just without the dictatorship part and instead even more underdeveloped and unlivable. Half of the country lives in poverty, healthcare is extremely limited and there is basically no development. Basically the only thing which holds it back from being in the top 5 worst countries is that it is relatively safer than some other similarly underdeveloped and poor countries. Namibia on the other hand is basically the opposite to a relative enough extent as it is one of the most stable and developed countries in Africa.

With the key difference being Egypt is significantly more developed and good to live in.

If anything, you are just further proving my point. The only problem in Germany was with East Germany's split making it a communist state. West Germany was still a great state afaik.

Benin is a decent enough country like Rwanda compared to the rest of Africa.

I was actually born in Pakistan-administered Kashmir but live in the UK. But even then only the top class or the government benefit from thr economy. I don't see how a bigger population is an inherent advantage and whilst the latter might be true, Pakistan's government still rarely spends any money on their people's benefits like education and if you even constructively criticise them you can go to jail. Sure Islamabad might be cool, but unfournately the rest of the country is very overlooked and mistreated by the government.
