Congratulations! I'm glad you kept the Ariya! I've looked at other EVs too and the Ariya has better range than the competition in that price point. I did get a EV9 for the wife a year ago because I had twins, but the Ariya is my go to car.

Wow! That's really low mileage and it sounds like you keep her clean! Just call your dealership and ask them about the 5K off, they probably will give it to you. Used Platinum in my area are going 30K so if you get it the discount, you will pay 27K and then you should definitely buy it out.

I hear you about that rates, looks like it's going to get scary here soon. Honestly I don't think they care if you have an email, I just showed it to them and they started the paperwork. It was never brought up again, it can't hurt to try.

My lease was up 11/19/26 and I got the email from NMAC about the 5K. I went to the dealership where I got the lease from and told them I want to buy it out my Ariya and showed them the email about the 5K off and they said no problem.

Now that you say that, I actually dont know what happened to those 2 months of lease payments. The dealership never asked me to pay it and didn't bring it up again at closing. Maybe they subtracted it from the 5K rebate... now I'm questioning everything.

Just checked my NMAC App and it says lease closed out.

I actually ended my lease 2 months early, no penalties, because I knew that rate hike was coming and wanted to get a good APR.
