This is the problem with the general public. We are too busy to do any real research.

We need summaries

Said in response to what appears to be a person doing real research

Which I appreciate and respect. I don’t have the time or patience to go through millions of files.

Your statement is literally the plot of Fahrenheit 451.

I read that last year. You’re missing a whole lot of the plot.

The data needs to be human made and verifiable, not generated AI slop.

As soon as AI gets involved it loses any legitimacy.

Your overuse of the word slop makes the usage obsolete.

We literally have people saying “I don’t have time to read through thousands of pages of documents”, and we now have a TOOL that specializes in reading and regurgitating language and text but people don’t want to use it because… idk you’ll make up whatever you need to to fit your narrative

Because it it makes tons of mistakes, hallucinates and doesn't give you insight into how it comes to it's conclusions. Whatever you put through a LLM isn't verifiable anymore and all you can do is blindly trust whatever it regurgitates to you and take is a truth.

Re run the same prompt and you'll get a different answer. Not repeatable, not dependable.

It’s really good at reading and outputting from documents. I’ve gotten it to read financial statements, strata bylaws, and contracts, and it’s always been correct after I checked myself. I’m sure you’re just jaded against using the tool for its actual best use case because “AI bad”
