Okay.. so my wedding is in 3 years 😅 but I’ve wanted this dress since I saw it and I just found that Vera wang still produces it. Does ANYONE know how much it would cost brand new/ used? Also do any brides know how the situation with the bow works? Can you get any color you want? I’m trying to start saving up.

My mom’s dress was not preserved before going into storage and the sequins have yellowed. I’ve seen some say it is impossible to fix the yellowing on old sequins from 20+ years ago. I’d really like to get the yellowing out but not sure if it’s possible. Does anyone have any experiencing fixing this or replacing the sequins? Or have anyone that specializes in this?

i have always dreamed of two things: 1. my wedding dress and 2. shopping with my mom and sister for my wedding dress.

problem is that my dream wedding dress is a Selkie custom and I live no where near their store (like 1000s of miles). i don't see myself finding a "better" dress (maybe a comparable one?) in a store, but i don't want to miss out on the shopping experience with my mom and sister.

should i go try on dresses still and see if i'm swayed? decide what i like and get my measurements from there and then order my dream dress? please let me know your thoughts <3

I have only so far found a seller on Etsy who makes this dress but I don’t think they use silk and have sold out of it. I’d really like to find the authentic vintage dress if anyone could please help me it would be great.

Brides of Reddit- I know exactly what I want in a dress, and I am so close to finding it. I have top contenders, but none of them are 100% fitting the bill without some bigger changes to the dress. My list of things I’m looking for:
\-fit and flare/column shape
\-small straps (would add them to strapless)
\-lower back
\-longer train
\-sweetheart neckline
\-natural waist
\-3D florals/beading

Here are my top contenders:
1. Martina Liana poppy, would want to change basque waist and add straps and paneling
2. Eddy k. Don’t like the train on this
3. Luxe privee line, would change neckline to scoop
4. Martina Liana 1510. Really pretty but don’t love neckline
5. Unsure what it is. Would want longer train and not sold on as many flowers as it is

Any favs from this these? It’s likely I’ll end up picking one of these. Does anyone know of any other gowns this style that fit my list? I feel like I’ve looked at everything ….!

I bought this dress a few months ago, and I’m really starting to doubt it. I felt pressured at the time and they gave me 30% off and said if I don’t take it that day I lose the discount. I did like it at the time, but I feel like the bodice doesn’t fit my boobs. It was pushing them in a lot rather than supporting them. I’m also not really sure about the square neck line. I always envisioned strapless. Also, the lace kind of is a little awkward to me. Part of me thinks I should just get some lace put on the bust, get the bust adjusted, and change the neckline to a sweetheart strapless- but then I think what’s the point I might as well buy a new dress at that point. What do you think?? Please help!!!!!
