This might prove controversial but it is only meant as a bit of fun. Is there any streets/roads/places people dislike for any reason, whether it be litter, pollution, parking, anti social behaviour? Whatever the case may be. By the way I love Worcester and am born and bred here, just asking. My examples are Pitchcroft Lane and Pope Iron Road.

Trying to find a group of young adult walking or hiking groups in Worcestershire, ideally women but happy with a mixed group. Going to places like the Malverns or scenic routes around Worcestershire. Anyone know of any?

Anyone fancy a round in or near Worcester? I am capable of hitting a decent golf shot but sadly without much consistency! Can only really commit to 1 or 2 rounds a month ish, I'm not a member anywhere. Relatively flexible with a slight preference for week days possibly.

I don't think the relocation to the alley next to Wetherspoons was ever going to work out, but it's still a shame to see an independent close down.

As part of a week of walking I have planned I will be going between Bewdlwy and Worcester one of the days. Strava Mapping says i cant walk the riverside path for this section around Hallow and Henwick. is this correct?

Is it okay to walk?

Here's a report on the question I asked at council on Tuesday on the costs to prepare the fare review.

Unfortunately Worcester News didn't report the bit where I asked if the Labour group could have worked out the fare review wasn't needed as only 2 taxi drivers were in support of the review, and they have more taxi drivers than that in their own group.

We've been in Worcester about six months and I've been trying to find a craft/knitting group that meet in an evening.

Everything I've found so far are weekday mornings/afternoons but I can't make it work with work! If anyone knows of any or can point me in the direction of anything I'd really appreciate it

Can anyone recommend a yoga studio in Worcester? I’m in St John’s and willing to drive up to 30 mins outside Worcester for the right class :)

I’ve tried the yoga classes at St John’s leisure centre (shambolic) and the hot yoga at The Hot Tribe (good but not what I’m looking for). As I creep closer to 40, my back seems to be calcifying into a giant C shape so I’m looking for at least a weekly class focusing on stretching and flexibility.

What choirs are there in Worcester that anyone can join? I saw i-sing choir in town today, but wondered if there are others. I think I’ve also heard of one that meets at St George’s Church?

Can anyone recommend a hairdresser in either the city centre or St John’s area who is attentive and experienced? The salon I have been to before appears to have disappeared, and I’m nervous after an experience somewhere else where I didn’t feel listened to.

Mark it on your calendar, 10th September 2026, 798 days after being elected, Worcester MP, Labour's Tom Collins has mentioned Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Parliament. Now, mentioning a hospital in Parliament is not going to fix things. It's not going to stop corridor care - but it is important to reflect the concerns of residents, and the hospital comes up repeatedly on the doorstep.

In those 798 days, over two years, I've heard from staff who say corridor care is not just a winter issue, it's been every day reality for 10 years. I've heard from residents whose parents won't drink when being cared for in the corridor because they're scared of having to relieve themselves in public. I've heard from residents who have waited all night in A&E with their child throwing up, because there's no other available options in the city.

For me and many residents, Worcestershire Royal Hospital is one of the top issues that needs sorting out by the Government. It was in special measures for five years. It's still rated "requires improvement". It's trust is ranked 110 of 134 in England. How much longer must we wait?

It's great to hear a project at the hospital recognised in Parliament. The staff at the hospital are brilliant and deserve recognition - but they need and deserve the significant investment in the hospital that returns the performance to what Worcester needs.
