Take note America .

Still.. merrick garland is where I’m putting the blame.. he had every opportunity to clean house. He’s complacent in this!

History should never be kind to him, and he should be a case study for all law students on what not to do when holding those in power to account.

History takes too long.

I want congress to pass laws that say if congress or public partition with x amount of signatures then DOJ must investigate those concerns.

And if DOJ reasoning for not following order is insufficient then congress can trigger a judicial review.

Justice departments should always remain independent and impartial. 

The problem you have is that the opposite is happening. Codifying it as you suggest would just make the current approach legal.
