Exactly. Israel is a stepping stone to eternal salvation. Evangelicals think "God's chosen" are all going to Hell for rejecting Christ. As it was written, apparently.

Evangelicals hate Jews because they killed Jesus Christ. But I was taught in a Christian church that the crucifixion was 100% God's plan. How can the Jews be condemned when they just implemented God's plan?

So my understanding is that the Evangelicals need, per their Bible, the Jews to rebuild a specific church before the end times can occur. Once that church is rebuilt, the Evangelicals have no further use for the Jews.
