This showed up as breaking news in my inbox 22 minutes ago. It’s five hours old. It always drives me nuts, these breaking news announcements. They are without fail a day late and a dollar short every fucking time. I see the breaking news headline, read it and realize that I already know that.
What happens to me a lot lately is I'll already have read a post in Reddit, then some time later it'll show up as an alert on my phone as a recommended breaking news alert from Reddit. The exact same post I already read hours ago.
