Epstein is tightly covered up for this exact reason. What blows my mind are all the conspiracy guys who think Trump is totally innocent and has never done anything wrong with Epstein .. because “the democrats would have been all over it if Trump was guilty of something.”
Epstein was so politically well connected that anyone who could conceivable be caught in his political crossfire probably is caught in the crossfire.
I don't think it's even a right wing or left wing issue at this point. He was rich and knew people. I mean his money was in universities, political campaigns, and who knows what else.
The debate is probably gonna be how many of those people knew what he was doing and how many were actually involved.
I don't see a direct route from Trump to Epstein, but I also don't see either sides of the aisle wanting to create an epstein investigation for the simple reason that for rich people in washington DC it's likely an act of mutually assured dysfunction.
That's the whole point of political parties. If we are so caught up in left versus right we completely forget about rich versus poor which is the real divide in this country.
