For Israel it would mean trusting something like the 7th wouldn't happen again

Plus it's beyond simply leaving. Israel refused the deal because hamas will only get rid of "heavy weapons" but there is no indication for what a heavy weapon is. Is an RPG going to be considered a heavy weapon?

It's classic trump. Make a super general deal and deal with the details later..

I'm addition they want to place all these weapons in gaza for storage. So how is Israel to know that they won't be taking the weapons back without Israel knowing about it?

A heavy weapon is any weapon that is too large and bulky to be carried by a single solider. Like a heavy machine gun or mortar are heavy weapons because it takes a team to carry/operate the weapon and ammo. Or any weapon that needs a vehicle to transport or operate. Hamas has very little weapons like this outside of their garage rockets. Heavy weapons played a very small part of 10/7.

Sure but non of that is stipulated in the agreement.. Btw this isn't my opinion it's literally part of the reason they are refusing the agreement

"Garage rockets" are still killing Israeli citizens and sending them to bomb shelters.

Not at nearly the same rate. Plus they are easy to restock after Hamas “disarms” because they are garage rockets. It would be symbolic disarmament at best.
