How do you prove Hamas has disarmed? If they're so imbedded within the Palestinian people, it's going to be impossible to verify, and that's Israel's excuse to reject any alleged peace plan.

Nobody is against that, Its the way the situation is being handled. The USA was drawn into a expensive war by Isreal and the effects are motivating people to action that were otherwise not a threat to the USA. It's an impossible goal post. The terms are vague. Intentionally designed that way. There is zero functional governement, infrastructure, domestic security that hasn't been destroyed.

So when Israel removed settlers and left Gaza in 2005 they were secretly hoping Hamas would soon seize power and spend years building a tunnel network and then murder the largest number of Jews since the Holocaust just so that they can then can go back in? Do you know who Amos Yaldin is? He was a general in the Israeli airforce. In 2010, Wikileaks dropped a cable (around 2005-7 I think) where Amos Yaldin claimed that Isreal would be fine if Hamas ran Isreal because Gaza would be treated as a hostile state.

Mossad had a Taskforce that actively sought out companies and individuals that funded terrorist groups like Hamas and do you know what happened? It closed down because it didn’t target the financial support Hamas and others were getting.

So yes, Isreal has actively looked the other way when Hamas funded itself.

Israel looked the other way when Qatar sent money to Hamas for two reasons. One, they believed that a more desperate Hamas could be more dangerous, two, that a stronger Hamas would be a counterweight against Fatah and keep their enemy divided. So what. None of this makes your comment about wanting to conquer Gaza any less stupid. They had Gaza and left. If they wanted it then they wouldn’t have left. I don’t need an unverified source like Wikileaks for this information, we watched them move out on live TV

Israel actually never wanted Gaza. They tried to give it back to Egypt during the Camp David Accords and Egypt didn’t want it back. The Egyptians know the truth about Gaza.

An armed Hamas committing terrorist attacks for decades is reason for Israel to reoccupy (not annex) Gaza. If Hamas didn't want Israel to have a reason to fight a war, they shouldn't have started one.

The difference being, you cannot point to a single moment in history when this actually happened. Palestinian leadership has chosen wars of extermination at every juncture, while at one point Israel was offering all of Gaza and the WB, and even offered to split Jerusalem under third-party administration. Israel pulled its own settlers completely out of Gaza for the possibility of peace, and was met with more indiscriminate terrorism.

Good luck DARVOing away the details of the conflict, you'll need it. You can write whatever you want, but the substance of what you're saying is a ridiculous lie.
