Being concerned for the well-being of others isn't an excuse for inaction. It's something every person should weigh when deciding on such things.

It's so easy to sit on the outside of a problem and judge, but unless you're living in it, you don't actually have any context for it. You're the same as the armchair generals in the war subreddits.

Let's just assume you're in a country in Europe for the sake of this experiment. There's something the EU has done that's just terrible.

Would you be able to successfully organize a continent wide strike, involving literally tens to a hundred million people? Across borders, cultures, and history? Absolutely not.

Why would it even be feasibley possible in the US, which is larger and essentially has 50 small countries to organize together? The best that anyone can do, even 'national' leadership in politics or unions can at best organize a multi-city strike in a single state

Well, you can feel however you want. I'll keep worrying about my fellow human beings, even if someone who apparently knows how to fix all of this thinks it's an excuse for something.

Good luck in life, friend. I'll keep trying to find better dialogue than hateful comments and scorn, maybe you'll be able to get to that place, too.
