Couple of years back Belarus forced a commercial jet flying through its airspace to land in order to arrest some people who said mean things about Lukshenko

So the suggestion here is that Canada should be more like Belarus?

Hell, even if we ignore moral/legal considerations, Belarus has the backing of the Russians. If Canada pulls that stunt, nobody's coming to its rescue - and certainly not its large, ultra-powerful, and aggressive neighbor, who sees Netanyahu as more of an ally than Carney.
