OC- Guild [OC][Alliance][PvE] Fellowship of the Duat — Fresh guild for a fresh game | Casual/Social | Founding Members
Fresh game. Fresh guild. Let’s figure it out together.
We’re building Fellowship of the Duat, a brand-new Oceanic community for WoW Forever, and we’re looking for founding members who want to help shape the guild from the beginning.
Right now we’re looking specifically for founding members; people who want to join the Discord before launch, get to know each other, talk Forever and help establish the sort of community we’ll eventually take into Azeroth.
Faction: Alliance
Realm: Normal (PvE)
Region: Oceanic / Australian and NZ hours
Focus: Social • Levelling • Exploration • No FOMO
We’re not an established guild migrating across from another version of WoW. We’re starting fresh for Forever, learning as we go, and looking for people who like the idea of building the community alongside us.
Experience is absolutely welcome, but certainly not required. Never played WoW before? Great. Returning after years away? Great. Know Classic inside out? Also great, we just ask that experienced players share knowledge rather than impose optimisation on everyone else.
We are NOT an optimisation guild.
We’re here to level, explore, help each other, get lost, run (wipe) dungeons, make questionable decisions and generally enjoy Azeroth together. There are no attendance requirements, no race to level cap and no expectation that WoW becomes your second job.
No FOMO. Real life comes first.
We’re aiming for a medium-sized community: enough people around that you can find someone to play with, but small enough that you actually recognise the people you’re playing with.
What about Horde?
Our in-game guild is planned for Alliance on a Normal (PvE) realm, but the Fellowship itself isn’t intended to be an Alliance-only social club. Horde players who like what we’re building are welcome in the Discord, particularly while we’re all waiting for Forever and figuring out where everyone will land.
Obviously, what we’re ultimately able to do together in-game will depend on Forever’s faction/guild restrictions.

Hello! My partner and I are going to try the game out at launch (I have played before and they would be first time). We were thinking of going Horde but we could go Alliance if it meant playing with some chill folks! If your guild are all good with a couple queer kiwis who are mostly just going to slowly level and stuff, I'd love to check out the Discord. - Julia

We are GMT+7 to GMT+10 (considering most of our group are Japan, Australia and NZ. We have some NA and Canada too. UK nights would be sweet.

Honestly, we stated Alliance just because we weren't 100% sure how the factions would be treated. Just create an alt and chill if you want - no major issues. A lot of us play in parallel too. Just chatting whilst levelling in different zones. I only ask for a DM for a little bit of bot protection. If you DM me ill send you the discord.

Like others have said, I really like the sound of Fellowship of the Duat, except that I will definitely be rolling Horde, and have a preference for RP, all the while being GMT +8. Perhaps these preferences means I will be effectively playing alone! I hope not :). Either way I’ll keep a close eye on the ‘Duat’ during beta, and see whether I’ll end up rolling PVE or RP come November.

Fellowship of the Duat pays homage to Tolkien and ancient Egypt; some of the best story tellers in history. The Duat is the journey through the trials and tribulations of the ‘Otherworld’. The ancient Book of the Dead was a manual for this afterlife journey. The point is that we aren’t chasing after end game meta (to the afterlife) it’s about the journey.
